Israel Defense Forces International Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus says the IDF will share visual and audio proof of a misfire by a terrorist organisation on a hospital in Gaza. This comes after Israel rejected claims it was responsible for a deadly airstrike on a hospital in Gaza.
Gaza’s health ministry says at least 500 people have been killed in the strike on the al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital but are warning the death toll could rise. Israel’s military says the explosion at the hospital was caused by a failed launch from Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which was carried out towards Israel. “We’re also going to release aerial footage of the area before and I think during the explosion,” Lieutenant Colonel Conricus told Sky News Australia. “If there is foul play here … then we would want to expose it.” Warning: this video contains distressing content.
